JANE JIHYUN KIM

 Hi, my name is Jihyun Kim.

I was born in Jeju island, Korea and grew up in Seoul, the capital of Korea. I studied business administration in college and when I was a junior, I had the chance to go to Delaware to study English. After 6 months of language training, I returned to Korea to continue my academic studies, but I always intended to return back to study in America. Eventually, I came to Boston and started studying business management at Northeastern University.

As I consider experiencing a completely new culture and environment my fate in my lifetime, I tried to record what I have seen and felt as a foreigner in photography. Being able to deliver the message I want to convey with photography is proper and efficient way for me because I undeniably have a weakness to express what I exactly want to say because of a difference of language and culture. Also, I realized that visual image is an effective method when I try to give information and appeal something I want people to know by marketing activities done at school and companies. Now, I create various contents including videos as well as photos in hopes of (someday) creating contents which can give positive influence.
